VISION, MISSION AND CAPABILITIES:

AFRC VISION:

“A more capable and credible PAF Reserve Force responsive to national security and development.”

AFRC MISSION:

“To organize, train, equip, develop and administer the PAF Reserve Force as the base for expansion in the event of war, invasion, rebellion disaster or calamities and to assist in the socio-economic development efforts of the Government.”

AFRC CAPABILITIES:

  1. Sustains the manpower build-up of the Ready Reserve Force; 

  2. Conducts pre-reservist, specialized and unit training;

  3. Conducts periodic assembly test to ensure operational readiness;

  4. Conducts mobilization when directed by higher authority;

  5. Enhances the administrative and operational capabilities of the PAF Reserve Force;

  6. Provides assistance in the relief and rescue operations during disasters and calamities;

  7. Conducts civil military operation/mercy mission as directed by higher authority;

  8. Assists in the operations and maintenance of essential government and public utilities in the furtherance of the overall mission accomplishment as directed by higher authority; and

  9. Performs other tasks as directed by higher headquarters.

 

ARCEN MISSION:

“To train, develop and utilize the citizen armed forces of the PAF within its area of responsibility.” 

ARCEN CAPABILITIES:

  1. Trains and develops high school and college students in the rudiments of military service and produce capable PAF reservist;

  2. Supervises the manpower reserve affairs of the PAF;

  3. Trains PAF reserve component and affiliated reservist;

  4. Provides civil assistance during calamities, disasters or emergencies;

  5. Supervises mobilization and assembly test; and

  6. Performs other tasks as directed by Commander, AFRC.

 

AFWR MISSION:

“To provide forces as base for expansion of the AFP in the event of war, invasion or rebellion; to assist in relief and rescue during disasters or calamities and to assist in socioeconomic development efforts of the government.”

AFWR CAPABILITIES:

PEACE TIME:

  1. Provide personnel to undergo training as base for expansion of the PAF in the event of war, invasion or rebellion;

  2. Assist in the relief and rescue operations during disasters or calamities.

  3. Assist in socioeconomic development; and

  4. Assist in the operation and maintenance of essential government or private utilities.

WAR TIME:

  1. Integrate with the PAF in the event of war, invasion or rebellion; and

  2. Perform other tasks as required.
